Google's first Nexus 7 commercial airs on YouTube

Google's Camping commercial for the Nexus 7 has just hit YouTube, bringing with it all manner of schmaltz. Watch as a bearded gentleman and (we're assuming) his son strengthen their bond through the glory of camping, Google apps, and an unusually strong outdoor Wi-Fi signal. The entire family bonding scenario reminds us of a commercial produced by one of Google's tablet OEMs, Acer, which depicted a similar scene of idyllic family fun facilitated by an Android tablet — we'll let you decide which of the two glosses over the lack of tablet-optimized apps the best.
