Samsung vs. Apple

Alright, these past couple of days, the trial between Apple and Samsung have been a very big deal. Finally, the decisions were made and Samsung lost this epic battle. Samsung will be losing a chunk of money to Apple ($1.049 billion) for patent infringements.

Apple has made it's claim announcing that Samsung has copied their iOS interface features. Samsung was unsuccessful in defending themselves.

I know this is a big issue, but my main concern is about whether if this trial was good for both sides. I feel like both companies have done wrong and going into trial was a bad look for both companies.

As far as Apple, it doesn't look good because Apple seems to be facing a lot of issues. Google and Apple hasn't been moving very smoothly and now the issue with Samsung definitely doesn't look good for the company. I believe if Apple was really concerned with this issue they should have dealt with this issue earlier.

As far as Samsung, now the world openly knows that they have copied the design and the iOS features from Apple.

My final thoughts is that they should have dealt with this issue a lot earlier on.
